Do you know when the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ will take place?

The Bible says that Jesus Christ will come in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory (Matthew 24:30). He will come in the glory of His Father with the holy angels (Matthew 16:27, Mark 8:38, and 2 Thess. 1:7). And He will come unannounced, without warning, unexpectedly and suddenly (Rev. 16:15, 1 Thes. 5:2,3, Matthew 24: 37-39 and Luke 21: 34, 35). Knowing this we should live our lives as though He were coming back today because in fact, He could.

Can you explain Hebrews 10:26. Does it mean that if a saved person sins that there is no hope or pardon for them?

Absolutely not. Let us look at that verse. For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, ther remaineth no more sacrifice for sins" Look at some of the key words; The words "sin willfully" mean to sin with full knowledge. This is different from sinning from ignorance or weakness. The word "willfully could be translated "willingly".

What this passage is saying is that if a person receives the knowledge of the truth and then... deliberately and of their own choice, makes a choice to sin, instead of obeying God, their fellowship with God is broken and unless they repent and turn to God there remains no more sacrifice for their sins. This type of a person will have no desire to repent.

A person who sins but has a desire to repent proves of itself that they have not sinned this way. Sin is missing the mark and brings with it a godly awareness and sorrow. The person described in Hebrews 10:26 would not be seeking God's face after sinning and would have no desire to repent of their sin. The fact that you have asked this question shows that you are not like the person described in Hebrews 10:26.
